This exhibit is confined to images of Sacramento’s public art. Students are encouraged to submit images printed using any form of photography. SMAC will also select images from the submissions for display on SMAC’s website. Students may select one or several pieces of public art to photograph. Creativity is encouraged – photographing at various times of day, unusual perspectives, and various photo techniques are encouraged to create new ways to view our public art. Maps and visual guides to the location of all public art are available on SMAC’s website, http://www.sacmetroarts.org/Programs/Public-Art/Public-Art-Tours(link is external).
All works must be original and completed by the submitting photographer. Submission is limited to three (3) entries per student. A maximum of 28 prints will be accepted for the show. Please prepare your work early and submit once the submission period opens. There is no entry fee.
