Lightroom Workshop

I got this email from Viewpoint this morning; my students in Trends in Software might find this overview helpful to expanding on what we covered in class, as well as other students who are playing with Lightroom at home. There is a fee for the workshop, but I think arc photo students get a discount, so you might want to call and confirm that…
SATURDAY’S WORKSHOP
David L. Robertson: Introduction to Lightroom CC
Saturday, April 2, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

This workshop will discuss the basic components of Lightroom, explain how Lightroom can be integrated into the digital workflow, and compare attributes of Lightroom and Photoshop.
Each of the seven Lightroom modules (Library, Develop, Map, Book, Slideshow, Print and Web) will be discussed, as well as an identification of what is new in Lightroom CC (e.g., face recognition and dehaze slider).
The Library module will be discussed in detail. Attendees will learn how to import and organize digital files, create Collections, and learn how to use flags, stars, colors and keywords.
