Free Photo Lecture Series

AS ARC students, you have the benefit of student memberships to Viewpoint gallery and to the Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley.  Each have lectures that you can attend.  Here’s what’s up in September:
Viewpoint’s FALL STUDENT LECTURE SERIES

“Every Picture Tells a Story”

All school students are invited to attend Viewpoint’s first lecture in the Fall Student Lecture Series. These free lectures are for college and high school students only, and will be held at Viewpoint, located at 2015 J Street. The first lecture–“Every Picture Tells A Story”–on September 20th features Charles P. Farmer, who will share a number of his images, discuss the stories each tells, and explain how they can be informative, humorous and in some cases both.

PPSV Image & Gear Talk – PPSV’s Monthly “Bonus Event”
Thursday, September 20th – Quarterly Image Competition
Sacramento Association of Realtors
2003 Howe Ave, Sacramento, CA 95825

Held before both the regular Program Meetings and Digital Image Competitions, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. These presentations have been expanded to a full hour for 2018. The programs are taught by some of PPSV’s most experienced and recognized professional members. Many of the programs are hands on.
