My name is Anusha Govindan, I am the Assistant Coordinator for the Arts Competitions and Exhibits for the California State Fair. I am writing today because I am in search of artists who may be interested in entering, volunteering, and/or demonstrating during the Fair, which runs from July 14 – July 30. We especially hope you decide to enter with us. We are always hoping for more entries to reach a wider scope of our wonderful California artists. Don’t miss your chance to have your work displayed at the California State Fair.
You can also volunteer with us to be an art docent! We have multiple shifts available and various time throughout the fair. Our docents answer questions about the exhibits, complete sales transactions of artwork, and As a demonstrator you can share your love of art with the community you can pass out information on your group as well as sell artworks, prints or other items. You receive free admission and parking to the fair for your demonstration days, you may staff your volunteers however, you like as long as you have volunteers at your demonstration at all times while the fair is open. So you can rotate and enjoy the Fair while you are here as well!
